Indiana’s Logansport Memorial, St. Vincent Partner

Logansport (Ind.) Memorial Hospital announced it has partnered with Indianapolis-based St. Vincent Health for hospitalist and emergency services, effective Jan. 2, 2012, according to an Inside Indiana Business report.

St. Vincent, whose parent is Ascension Health, already provides cardiology services to Logansport.

“Our strategy is to create mutually-beneficial partnerships with health providers that enhance the level of care for patients and families,” said Kevin Speer, chief strategy officer for St. Vincent. “Through our existing cardiology affiliation, we are very familiar with Logansport and the surrounding communities, and look forward to extending our partnership by delivering the highest level of emergency medicine and hospitalist services.”
