McCall’s trustees are expected to decide on the merger in early September, and the merger could be complete as early as October, according to the report.

Under the potential merger agreement, a new non-profit group, St. Luke’s McCall, would be established to control the hospital’s assets, and the hospital would be governed by a board of area residents and a representative of St. Luke’s.
