HealthTrust announced that Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), a healthcare system serving 3 million people in Illinois and Wisconsin, signed a renewal participation agreement that will extend a relationship that began in April 2007 through December 2020.
"We treated our impending contract term as an opportunity to evaluate all options and market innovations," says Bob Beyer, vice president of Supply Chain Services at HSHS. "Our analysis determined that HealthTrust has the right model, resources and capabilities to provide sustainable value and service line support. We're particularly excited about HealthTrust's engagement with physicians as key stakeholders in contracting decisions."
