CEO Albert Mezzaroba said the 266-bed hospital is taking the following steps:
- Expanding more profitable service lines, such as wound care, orthopedics and cardiac care;
- Improving Lower Bucks’ image with a “facelift” and marketing campaign; and
- Opening a clinic where patients with routine or minor medical problems can be treated, keeping the ED clear for emergencies.
The hospital is also interested in a sale or partnership with another health care system.
