HealthAlliance is currently discussing possible affiliations with New York healthcare systems such as Albany Medical Center, LaGrangeville-based Health Quest, Hyde Park-based Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, according to the report.
The merger talks come on the heels of former HealthAlliance President and CEO David Lundquist’s resignation. David Scarpino, the company’s CFO, has been named acting president and CEO. The reasons for Lundquist’s resignation have not been disclosed.
