HCA, Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital in California Consider Partnership

Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Thousand Oaks (Calif.) Surgical Hospital are in discussions to form a partnership, according to a Ventura County Star report.

Under the partnership, Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital would become part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA, which owns Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center.

Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital would benefit Los Robles Hospital by providing more personalized care through its small (21-bed) hospital; Los Robles Hospital would benefit the surgical hospital by providing financial support and other resources, according to the report.
