Guthrie Health, Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania Consider Possible Affiliation

Guthrie Health, a three-hospital system based in Sayre, Pa., and 183-bed Memorial Hospital in Towanda, Pa., are exploring the “possibility of a collaborative relationship,” according to a statement put out by the two providers.

Carolyn Handrick, Guthrie’s public relations manager, said “such a process is complex and needs to be pursued with great deliberation and diligence. It is very early in that process and nothing has been formalized at this time.”

No timelines were given for any discussions.
