The report states the lawyers for Phoebe and the Hospital Authority of Albany-Dougherty County filed a motion July 1 asking for the delay, and the hearing is now expected to take place in October.
Phoebe Putney planned to acquire Palmyra for $195 million, but the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals recently granted the FTC an injunction on the deal.
