PAPP Clinic, a 38-physician multi-specialty group in Newnan, Ga., has signed an exclusive letter of intent to pursue affiliation with Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare as part of the system’s physicians group, according to a Times-Herald report.
Piedmont Physicians Group is a multi-specialty group with more than 100 primary care physicians. The system is currently building a 143-bed acute-care community hospital in Newnan with an anticipated opening in spring 2012.
PAPP, which was founded in 1919, has six locations and 11 medical specialties.
