Under the agreement, the universities’ medical students will receive clinical training from physicians at Memorial Regional Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in a variety of specialties.
The agreement was approved by the South Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners, which oversees six-hospital Memorial, one of the nation’s largest public hospital systems.
