Florida Hospital, Walgreens open 15 clinics in Tampa Bay

Orlando-based Florida Hospital — part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System — and Deerfield, Ill.-based Walgreens opened 15 retail healthcare clinics across Tampa Bay, Fla., Thursday, according to Drug Store News.

The organizations signed a definitive agreement to collaborate on the Florida Hospital Express Care at Walgreens clinics in January. Florida Hospital clinicians will provide all clinical services at the retail clinics.

As part of the contract, the organizations also agreed to open a Walgreens pharmacy at Florida Hospital Tampa later this year.
