The first CON seeks approval to spend up to $3.7 million on planning and design work for a new inpatient building, which could include up to four floors and 128 single-bed patient rooms. The construction project itself would be the subject of separate CON application once the planning is completed.
The second CON application seeks approval to replace Fletcher Allen’s existing Mother and Baby Unit. The project is estimated to cost $15.8 million and will feature 28 patient beds in 25 patient rooms. If approved, the project will take approximately 18 months to complete.
