As part of LifePoint, FCH will have access to new clinical, operational and financial resources. FCH is also becoming a local taxpayer as part of the acquisition.

LifePoint Health has agreed to make capital investments in FCH’s growth, hire all active FCH employees and expand FCH’s services to meet the needs of its communities.

FCH joins nine other LifePoint hospitals in the commonwealth of Kentucky.

Michael Clark joined FCH as interim CEO while the search for a permanent CEO is conducted.

“FCH has been an important part of the healthcare infrastructure in northeast Kentucky for more than 50 years,” said LifePoint CEO and chairman William F. Carpenter III. “We see great opportunities to collaborate with its employees and doctors to grow the hospital and continue its efforts to advance healthcare services across the region.”
