Elkhart General, Memorial Health System’s Affiliation Results in Leadership Shuffle

The recent affiliation agreement between Elkhart (Ind.) General Hospital and South Bend, Ind.-based Memorial Health System has led to the appointment of two new presidents, according to a South Bend Tribune report.

Phil Newbold, president and CEO of Memorial Health System, will serve as CEO of the new parent organization. COO Kreg Gruber has been promoted to succeed Mr. Newbold as president of Memorial Health.

Meanwhile, Greg Lintjer, president of Elkhart General, will retire next year and will be succeeded by Greg Losasso, Elkhart General’s vice president of operations.
