The hospital, which had a net operating loss of $13.1 million in 2008, sent requests for proposals to local, regional and national healthcare providers, according to the report. Submissions are due Apr. 13, and Deaconess hopes to begin negotiations the week of Apr. 20.
The hospital had planned a joint venture with physicians, but the plan fell through in late 2008.
