Covenant acquires 3 Well-Key clinics

Knoxville, Tenn.-based Covenant Health is expanding its urgent care footprint by acquiring Well-Key Urgent Care’s three clinics and adding another location, according to an Oct. 1 news release.

Along with its acquisition of the Maryville (Tenn.) South, North Knoxville and Sevierville, Tenn., centers, Covenant opened its new clinic in Farragut, Tenn. The health system now operates six urgent care locations across East Tennessee.

“Bringing Well-Key Urgent Care into the growing Covenant Health Urgent Care family is part of our continued commitment to ensuring high-quality, convenient care is available close to home,” said Jim VanderSteeg, president and CEO of Covenant Health. “Our new center in the Farragut community strengthens our ability to serve East Tennessee communities with seamless access to care.”
