The 30-day federal regulatory review of Cone Health’s proposed acquisition of Alamance Regional Medical Center began this week, according to the report. Cone Health and Alamance Regional approved a deal to merge last December.
In addition, Carolinas Healthcare is preparing to take over management of Cone Health Oct. 1. Carolinas Healthcare entered into a management services agreement with Cone Health in June.
