Sanford Health, based in Fargo, N.D. and Sioux Falls, S.D., signed a definitive agreement to purchase Clearwater Health Services in Bagley, Minn., according to a Sanford Health news release.
Clearwater Health Services will be known as Sanford Bagley. Talks concerning the merger began this past fall when the two organizations announced a letter of intent. The agreement will be effective Feb. 1, 2012.
