Under the terms of the deal, Immanuel will resign its membership and governance role in Alegent. CHI will establish a strategic collaboration with Immanuel allowing the independent- and assisted-living operator to focus on its services for seniors. The deal comes after a decision by Immanuel’s board of directors to focus on senior care programs, according to the report.
According to the report, both organizations expect to complete the transition and plans for collaboration in senior care by the end of this year.
