CHS-owned Indiana cancer center sells for $15M

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems reportedly sold the Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Cancer Center to a healthcare real estate and development firm for $15 million, according to The Journal Gazette.

The cancer center resides on Fort Wayne-based Lutheran Hospital’s campus.

Birmingham, Ala.-based The Sanders Trust, which purchased the cancer center, will reportedly maintain the leases of the center’s two tenants, one of which is the hospital-physician partnership that operates Lutheran Hospital.
