Peter O’Conner, MD, COO of Franciscan Medical Group, said The Doctor’s Clinic will remain a private entity, yet the signage will show that the facility is now part of the Franciscan Medical Group, according to the article.

CHI Franciscan also acquired the clinic’s digital imaging lab and ambulatory surgery center in the partnership.

The agreement allows the clinic access to all of CHI Franciscan’s contracts with insurers, giving more patients access to The Doctor’s Clinic facilities at in-network rates, according to the article.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
