According to the report, Kimball Health Services agreed to the affiliation for a variety of reasons, including difficulty in recruiting and retaining qualified staff, increased financial pressure and access to services provided by CRMC.

Kimball’s CEO and CFO will work for CRMC but will continue to make daily decisions for Kimball Health. The affiliation will take effect Oct. 1.
