Carson Health joins Sparrow Health Systems

Carson Health in Carson City, Mo., which includes a 61-bed acute-care hospital and 16 physician practices, has joined Lansing, Mich.-based Sparrow Health Systems.

Under the agreement, which includes full clinical integration, the parties hope to improve healthcare services and lower healthcare costs.

“As we look to the future of healthcare, greater integration is key to meeting ongoing economic challenges and offering continued access to quality care,” said Matt Thompson, president and CEO of Carson.

Carson Health has been affiliated with Sparrow since 1997.
