Phoenix Children’s Hospital will now concentrate its NICU services at its existing level III NICU located at its main campus.
Banner Health conveyed its decision to terminate the lease following a binding arbitration ruling related to Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s strategic alliance with Dignity Health Arizona in Phoenix.
According to an announcement from Banner Health, the NICU lease contained a provision that allowed Banner to terminate it if Phoenix Children’s Hospital became aligned with another Arizona health system.
