St. Alexius is weighing the sale of its Jefferson campus, which houses its primary care office, psychiatric intensive outpatient program and the Lutheran School of Nursing. However, the sale isn’t likely to include the nursing school, the sources said. The hospital is also considering selling its bariatric center in south St. Louis County, according to the Business Journal.
St. Alexius CEO Sonny Saggar, MD, couldn’t confirm to the Business Journal whether the sale is in the works, but told the publication the hospital is “considering all options.”
