Asante Chief Administrative and Finance Officer Marvin Haas will take on the CEO role at the Ashland hospital. Current Ashland CEO Mark Marchetti will stay on in a consulting capacity through May 1 to aid in the transition.
The Ashland City Council approved the plan in February, under which Asante pledged $10 million in capital improvements and committed to attempting to employ existing Ashland staff at either the hospital or elsewhere in Asante’s network.
