Kentucky’s Appalachian Regional to Acquire Mary Breckinridge Hospital

Lexington, Ky.-based Appalachian Regional Healthcare and Wendover, Ky.-based Frontier Nursing Service have entered into a letter of intent for ARH to acquire Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden, Ky., and all related healthcare services, according to an ARH news release.

The acquisition will ensure continued access to quality healthcare for Mary Breckinridge Hospital’s community.

Mary Breckinridge Hospital includes primary care services, an emergency room, inpatient services, diagnostic and ancillary services and the Wasson Rural Health Clinic.
