1. Edmond, Okla.-based American Healthcare Staffing Group offers temporary healthcare staffing services, while Portland, Ore.-based Thaxton Barabe offers interim healthcare leadership staffing.
2. Jay Somera, president of Thaxton Barabe, will continue to lead the company, according to a news release.
3. Commenting on the acquisition, Mr. Somera said, “I am excited to join AHSG and benefit from the considerable resources of both BelHealth and AHSG to accelerate Thaxton’s growth. Our company has grown rapidly over the last few years and we are well positioned to continue gaining market share.”
