Natchez Regional Hospital to Conduct Feasibility Study

On the advice of hospital trustees, the Adams County board of supervisors announced they would pursue a feasibility study to explore the sale or lease of Natchez (Miss.) Regional Medical Center, according to a report by the Natchez Democrat.

NRMC Board Chair the Rev. Leroy White said, “If we wait any longer [to partner], we will be in trouble,” according to the report.

NRMC conducted a similar feasibility study in 2008, but interested buyers backed out by the end of the year due to the economic downturn.
