Accumen partners with SSM Health hospital to improve quality of care, patient outcomes

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital partnered with Accumen on a multiyear agreement to implement a comprehensive patient blood management program.

Under the agreement, Accumen will assist SLUH with the implementation of the program.

The financial terms of the agreement, if any, were not disclosed.

“Accumen is proud to partner with SSM Health to implement a Comprehensive Patient Blood Management program that results in improved stewardship of a precious, scarce and expensive resource, while ultimately improving the quality of care,” said Joseph Thomas BSN, RN, national director of patient blood management at Accumen.
