1. CHS to sell additional hospitals worth $2B in revenue
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems completed its 30-hospital divestiture plan Nov. 1. Company leaders revealed they expect to sell another group of its hospitals with combined revenue of $2 billion.
2. HCA bids $415M to purchase Indian River Medical Center
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare bid $415 million to purchase Vero Beach, Fla.-based Indian River Medical Center, the highest of eight bids to acquire the hospital.
