3 healthcare organizations ink deal to develop Houston residential care complex

Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System, Mechanicsburg, Pa.-based Vibra Healthcare and Medistar, also in Houston, declared plans to collaborate on a post-acute care facility for Houston residents.

The facility, VibraLife of Katy, will be located adjacent to the Memorial Hermann Katy (Texas) Hospital. The facility will feature a 70-bed transitional care rehabilitation center, an 18-bed assisted living center and a 16-bed secured memory care unit.

Officials will break ground on the facility June 22, and expect to complete construction in summer 2018.
