A merger between Seton Health in Troy, N.Y., and Albany, N.Y.-based Northeast Health and St. Peter’s Health Care Services will result in a new health system with a new name: St. Peter’s Health Partners, according to a joint news release.

The names of all four acute care hospitals in the New York system will remain the same under the new system identity. These facilities are Albany Memorial Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy, St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
