Capella has operated Muskogee Regional Medical Center since 2007. In July, it announced the finalization of a long-term lease and management agreement of both Muskogee Regional and Muskogee Community Hospital to form one health system by merging the strengths and capacities of both hospitals.
Muskogee Regional Medical Center is now Eastr Health System’s west campus and will house emergency services, inpatient surgery, a comprehensive cancer center, rehabilitation and physical therapy. Muskogee Community Hospital becomes the health system’s east campus, housing women’s imaging services, a sleep center, an outpatient surgery center and occupational health services.
