Under the agreement the two organizations will become a unified 14-hospital system. When Little Company of Mary Hospital joins the health sytem it will be named OSF HealthCare Little Company of Mary Medical Center.
The two organizations, working to secure the necessary regulatory approvals, expect the merger to be finalized Feb. 1, 2020.
