Massachusetts’ Milton Hospital, Beth Israel Won’t Comment on Integration Plans

Officials from Milton (Mass.) Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston are engaged in discussions to integrate, but neither institution is saying whether 631-bed Beth Israel is taking control of 81-bed Milton, according to a Patriot Ledger report.

The two institutions have had a business relationship for eight years. Recently, BIDMC and MH have been discussing opportunities to integrate the hospitals’ operations, but neither hospital is commenting on whether a merger or acquisition is in the works.
