Huntsville Hospital to Manage Lawrence Medical Center in Alabama

Huntsville (Ala.) Hospital and Lawrence Medical Center in Moulton, Ala., have signed off on a management agreement.

Under the deal, Huntsville Hospital will manage Lawrence Medical Center for at least three years. The hospital will continue to be governed by its own board of directors.

According to Lawrence Medical interim CEO Bill Anderson, PhD, the agreement will help Lawrence lower its purchasing costs and attract new physicians.
