St. Luke’s Health System in Idaho Files Medicare ACO Application

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho, has filed an application to join the Medicare Shared Savings Program, according to an Idaho Statesman report.

Last spring, St. Luke’s registered with the state to become an accountable care organization. That ACO is called St. Luke’s Clinic Coordinated Care, according to the report.

There are currently no Idaho health systems or hospitals participating in the federal program, according to the report. If the application is approved, St. Luke’s will start participating in the program in January.
