Ohio University opens medical school at South Pointe Hospital

Ohio University’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine has extended its campus to include a new medical school at Cleveland Clinic’s South Pointe Hospital (Warrensville Heights, Ohio), according to a Cleveland.com report.

The partnership between Cleveland Clinic and OhioUniversity was initially announced in 2012, though the collaboration is based on a long-standing relationship between the two organizations.

The school’s 50 new students begin classes on July 8.
