USACS was founded by emergency medicine physician groups across Colorado, Florida, Maryland and Ohio, with Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe as a capital partner. The organization is dedicated to helping physicians maintain majority ownership in their practice management.
Pending customary closing conditions, ERGENTUS will join the national group as a founding partner. With this partnership, USACS now counts 18 Colorado locations. The group has roughly 120 locations nationwide.
“Joining USACS as a founding partner is a win for our clinicians, our partners and most importantly, our patients,” Homi Kapadia MD, president of ERGENTUS, said in a statement. “Physician-owned and led emergency medicine groups are the key to efficient and compassionate care in today’s healthcare environment.”
