Dr. Gregory assumed the position in June 2016.
Darrin D’Agostino, DO, executive dean of the KCUMB College of Osteopathic Medicine and vice president for health affairs, told The Joplin Globe the institution “did not ask [Dr. Gregory] to leave” and said the separation was “amicable.”
Officials named Ronnie Martin interim dean of the Joplin campus.
Dr. D’Agostino said the search for a permanent dean would not likely start for another four to six months, meaning the campus may not have a permanent dean for close to one year, the report states.
