Houston hospital launches independent provider network

Houston Physicians’ Hospital is debuting an independent provider network, the hospital said June 9.

Through the network, independent physicians and medical groups will be able to contract with self-insured employers and commercial insurers. Financial rewards for providers in the network will be tied to quality outcomes and performance, according to Houston Physicians’ Hospital.

Additionally, the independent physicians will have access to services and resources at the hospital.
