Summit has 24 primary care physicians, hospitalists and advanced practitioners that practice both in Hermitage, Tenn., and Mt. Juliet, Tenn. Heritage physicians practice in 10 specialties and primary care. The two physicians groups will have 135 combined providers to care for 150,000 patients across six cities and three counties.
The partnership aims to provide patients more access to care and a wider range of specialties. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
