Douglas County Hospital in Minnesota May Acquire Alexandria Clinic

Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria, Minn., has begun negotiations to acquire Alexandria Clinic, a multi-specialty clinic with locations in Alexandria and Osakis, Minn., according to an Echo Press report.

Douglas County Hospital CEO Carl Vaagenes said the merger would help create a locally-owned, integrated system with improved efficiencies, according to the report.
