Florida Hospital Kissimmee to Begin $6.6M ED Expansion

Florida Hospital Kissimmee announced it will break ground on a $6.6 million emergency department expansion May 15, according to an Orlando Business Journal report.

The 15,000-square-foot expansion will nearly double the current ED and will add 20 beds, resulting in a total of 35 beds.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year, according to the report.
