Vanderbilt Health taps divisional CFO

Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt Health has named Dominic Paris vice president of finance and divisional CFO for affiliate operations, effective Feb. 9. 

Mr. Paris succeeds Karen Nanney, vice president of finance for enterprise-wide functions, who is retiring later this year after more than 40 years with the health system, according to a Feb. 2 Vanderbilt Health news release. 

In his new role, Mr. Paris will have financial responsibility for all Vanderbilt Health Services, including those fully or partially owned by the system, along with the Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network’s finance team. 

Vanderbilt Health Services includes 16 healthcare-related subsidiaries and joint ventures, including Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital, Vanderbilt Integrated Providers and the Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network. Vanderbilt Health Services also includes community physician practices, walk-in and retail health clinics, imaging services, outpatient surgery centers, radiation oncology centers, a home health care agency, a home infusion and respiratory service, and accountable care organizations.

Mr. Paris joins the system from University of Virginia Health, where he served as administrator for financial planning and decision support.
