The findings of the report are based on a survey of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists that was conducted online from September to November 2012. The 590 respondents were self-selected.
The top drivers of therapist dissatisfaction, according to the survey, are:
• High workload — 32 percent
• Administration/manager — 15 percent
• Increased documentation — 15 percent
• Coworkers — 9 percent
• Compensation/benefits — 9 percent
