In April, 695-bed University Hospital announced Ms. Liska would be replaced by Michael Edwards, MD, as part of a move toward physician leadership.
Mercy Health Partners, a seven-hospital system at the other end of the state in Toledo, is operated by Catholic Healthcare Partners in Cincinnati. Ms. Liska will be responsible for hospital operations, service-line development and system-wide ancillary services at Mercy.
