St. John’s Regional in Missouri Sets Up Camp in Another Temporary Facility

St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo., will being moving operations into another temporary hospital site this weekend, according to a Joplin Globe news report.

The temporary hospital was supplied by a company that started designing portable buildings in response to Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The hospital’s original facility took a direct hit from a tornado in May. St. John’s Regional is currently waiting for a permanent replacement hospital to be constructed.
