The new name — which is derived from Greek and Latin words for star, truth and justice — is meant to reflect “the organization’s commitment to growth, excellence and innovation in services throughout the region,” according to the report.
The name change comes approximately a year after Regional Health was established and less than two months after the system purchased Yakima (Wash.) Regional Center and Toppenish (Wash.) Community Hospital.
All facilities that are part of the Regional Health network will be renamed to reflect the change.
